South Wales catering company Pancake World is celebrating after securing a lucrative six figure contract with a chain of coffee houses. The contract, worth over £100,000 per year with Kaspa’s Desserts is a significant boost to the company, already renowned for the quality of its produce.
Earlier in the year Pancake World exhibited at the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in London as part of the Welsh Government’s Food and Drink Wales delegation which allowed the company to engage with potential new customers and buyers at the event.
Based in Llantwit Major, near Cardiff the company is one of the world’s leading crepe mix and equipment wholesalers and distributes equipment from its south Wales offices.
Managing Director Loic Moinon said,

The opportunity to supply and work with a recognised company such as Kaspa’s Desserts is a huge boost to us, especially as they have new outlets in South Wales. Our presence at IFE earlier in the year, with support from the Welsh Government, enabled us to promote our product to a wide variety of buyers and distributors which was the catalyst to where we are today.
“We supply a wide client base from restaurants, hotels, market traders, cafes, from small independents to large national chains and we are constantly looking for new opportunities. We are now discussing with Kaspa’s the possibility of supplying them with our delicious waffle mix, so watch this space.”
