Waterloo Winter Fest is a community event to celebrate everything festive and Christmas whilst raising money for two wonderful charities, Ty Hafan and Wish Upon a Star (who support the family bereavement room at the Heath Hospital).
There will be arts and crafts stalls and a selection of stalls from local businesses. Entertainment from the City of Cardiff Community Brass Band, Only Menopausal Aloud and Red Jam.
Mulled wine will be available from the bar, luxury hot chocolate, mince pies, gingerbread people plus hotdogs from Spit and Sawdust and Hot Pork baps from Charcutier Ltd.
A children’s activity area with the opportunity to meet the man in red himself and his Elf. Party Fizz Liz will be hosting frozen style parties and you can get a family picture taken in your Christmas jumper by Katie Barratt. Prizes for the best child, adult and baby Christmas jumper will be given. Sponsored kindly by CPS homes.
This event is voluntarily organised by local residents who also run Waterloo Gardens Summer Fete to be held on the 6th December between 3-6pm at Roath Church house, Waterloo Road, Cardiff.
