The fifth generation family business Edwards Coaches of Pontypridd, stole the show at the recent National Express Awards Ceremony.
For the 6th consecutive year Edwards Coaches won the show piece award for “Large Coach Operator Of The Year” and not just being content with this Edwards also went on to collect a further 3, to include:
(a) High Achievement Award, “for 6 consecutive Green years”
(b) Engineering Gold Standard,
(c) Gold Standard Operator, recognising 6 continuous years of Gold Standard Performance – a remarkable achievement.
Edwards 2016 winning vital statistics were as follows:
- Edwards carried a total of 1,111,830 customers
- Drove 5,679,914 miles (equivalent of driving 25 times to the moon)
- Received a customer satisfaction rate of 99.999982%
- Previously won the award in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and now 2016
