The charity launched its 2018 campaign with the reveal of a new limited-edition t-shirt following the 10th year of the Jeans for Genes t-shirt design competition. Designed by Chunchen Liu, a talented fashion designer and master’s Illustration student at Kingston University, the design was selected by the Jeans for Genes fashion panel and the queen of style Kate Moss, following the competition with Kingston School of Art. The t-shirt is available for the first time in both a men’s and women’s style and is now available for £20 online from the Jeans for Genes website www.jeansforgenesday.org/shop
Talking about being involved in the campaign, Kimberly Walsh said: “I am really happy to be part of a fantastic charity campaign that works so hard every year to raise money for the children living with genetic disorders and their families. Not only is Jeans for Genes Day a fun excuse to wear your denim to school or work, it is a great way to be a part of a greater community that wants to support these families, because of that I strongly encourage everyone to get involved with this incredible cause!”
Conor Maynard, commented: “I’m so excited to be part of this year’s Jeans for Genes Day campaign as it is a fantastic cause that is continuously helping to transform the lives of children living with genetic disorders across the UK.
