The garden is open on Sunday 4th August from 14:00 – 18:00
Enjoy a warm welcome at No 7 Cressy Road. This is a small subtropical garden, creating the illusion of a much larger space. The garden is at its best in July and August and well worth a visit at this time of year when it is open through the National Garden Scheme. Lush tropical planting bring the space alive with colour and texture. Plants of interest include Tetrapanax, Arisaema, Podophyllums, succulent and fern collections. There is a small conservatory with Bromiliads, Forest cacti, Streptocarpus and ferns. With an emphasis on attracting wildlife the space is filled with nectar rich planting and a barrel pond to encourage frogs, dragonflies and damselflies into the garden. Unusual plants from the garden will be for sale during the opening and delicious homemade cakes. If you can’t make August the 4th’s open day contact us to enquire about by arrangement appointments for groups of up to 10 throughout July and August.
