SUNDAY 31 MAY 2020 AT 2PM – 6PM (BST)
The Great Connection Festival aims to bring people together in this time of uncertainty to reflect, reposition, rebuild and rejoice. The series of live online sessions for the mind, body, and soul are for anyone looking for some fun, energy, and inspiration to connect with themselves and others.
Bringing together over 20 speakers, practitioners, performers and experts The Great Connection Festival features a wide range of unique and uplifting talks, workshops and wellbeing exercise classes. From a Morning Gloryville dance medley and kickboxing for beginners class, to a Trap Yoga session and talk on how to ‘manage’ your emotions, the festival programme has something for everyone in these challenging times.
Speaking about the inspiration behind The Great Connection Festival, founder Adam Slawson says “In the past few months the world has had to press the pause button and it’s brought about new levels of anxiety, isolation and boredom. Our aim with The Great Connection Festival is to provide live entertainment to nourish people’s energy, support small businesses and raise money for a very good cause. Plus, we thought it would be fun :)”
The Great Connection Festival is in association with PlightClub, a mental wellbeing and connection community, and Olly’s Future, a suicide and prevention charity. Tickets purchased by donation in aid of Olly’s Future.
