At this time of the year BH Events would normally be at the busiest, organising major sporting events. Due to the coronavirus this has meant their usual events have not been possible.
Over the past five weeks, they have been running events via Zoom with rugby stars such as Dan Biggar, Richard Hibbard, Ken Owens and Francois Louw. The events have been free to attend but they have been asking for donations to Noah’s Ark Charity.
So far they have raised over £3500 with more upcoming events on the next two Wednesdays: 17th and 24th of June starting at 8pm.
Dragons event 17th June with Dean Ryan, Sam Davies and Richard Hibbard.

Scarlets event 24th June with Ken Owens and Uzair Cassiem. https://an-evening-with-scarlets.eventbrite.co.uk
With the money raised, they have delivered over 200 meals a week for the past five weeks. Deliveries have been a family affair with Pete Grzonka, his son Monty and daughter Martha helping out, as well as Pete’s business partner Brian Hall and his son Tiaan.
The deliveries of course would not be possible without food preparation, so over the last five weeks, Spiro Borg and his sons have been preparing meals for parents of children staying at Noah’s Ark children’s hospital, as well as the amazing staff themselves.
We owe so much to local businesses such as BH Events and Spiro Fine Dining. When lockdown is over and you need a sporting event or a caterer for a special event, please remember these two companies.
