The award-winning Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists, Johns’ Boys Male Chorus delivered a stunning live performance, blending traditional Welsh choral melodies with a modern twist, as part of Pizza Express’ Press for Showtime series.
The choir, known for their heart-stirring harmonies and modern spin on the traditional Welsh Male Voice Choir, serenaded guests at both 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., creating a magical atmosphere that had everyone smiling. Their soulful rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas brought a festive warmth to the room, while their powerful performances of Welsh favourites stirred a deep sense of pride and joy.
“It was unexpected and a fabulous performance, absolutely amazing,” one diner said, clearly moved by the experience. Another added with a grin, “It was very much quite the surprise.” Echoing the delight felt by many who had come for pizza but stayed for the music.
The magic wasn’t just in the music—the festive menu at Pizza Express was a hit too. Guests tucked into holiday treats like the Snowball Dough Ball Wreath and Christmas Feast Romana, perfectly paired with the cheerful soundtrack. Whereas for those who love a little indulgence, the Dough Balls in Blankets were the ultimate festive snack. Each dish added a delicious touch to the festive ambiance, perfectly complementing the evening’s entertainment.
