Tesco store in Cardiff to launch Dance Beats fundraiser in aid of three leading UK health charities.
Local colleagues at Tesco in Cardiff will be inviting customers to don their dancing shoes and show off their moves as part of a UK-wide fundraiser on 18th, 19th and 20th of July for the supermarket’s three national health charity partners – Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK. It is the first Tesco store in Wales, and one of 12 Tesco stores across the UK, to have donated 100,000 meals-worth of food through the supermarket’s Community Food Connection Scheme, run in conjunction with leading food charity FareShare. Tour de Troops The Castles 2019, raised £8,264 for the Felix Fund, the charity which helps bomb disposal and search personnel and their families. Cyclists took on a mammoth 570-mile (900 km) bike ride from Edinburgh to Cardiff in June 2019. The ride took in three of the UK’s most significant castles.
