The May 2015 polls were well-run overall with high levels of voter satisfaction, finds a report by the Electoral Commission. It makes a number of recommendations, following lessons learnt from the General Election, including that the registration system should meet voters’ expectations following the successful introduction of online registration by also letting voters check if they are registered online. Founder of Visualise Training and Consultancy, Daniel Williams provided his specialist Visual Impairment Awareness Training to staff at Job Centre Plus, Harrow on the 7th of July 2015. Daniel, who is originally from Bath, trained advisors from the Access To Work scheme, training them to have more confidence when assisting, guiding and communicating with their visually impaired customers.
