A care home in Cardiff has become the latest to have its residents receive the Covid-19 vaccine Residents and staff from Tŷ Llandaff, an ‘all-inclusive’, residential, nursing, palliative and respite care home in Conway Road, Pontcanna, had the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab which was the second vaccine in the UK to be approved against coronavirus on December 30 last year. The Aloud Charity have gathered their mass virtual choir Everyone Aloud for a special St David’s Day performance, with Sir Bryn Terfel joining as a soloist. Today, ten pieces of Cardiff-inspired art have been unveiled by FOR Cardiff Cardiff Castle in charcoal, a city centre map embroidered with Welsh wool, and portraits of some of the best-known characters in the city are just a few of the commissions being showcased in the all-day art exhibition. Fashion retailer, Primark, leaped to the support of children’s charity, Noah’s Ark, after being inspired by the plight of a three-year-old girl called Eden. As a result, the charity is now able to provide essentials packs for children who, like little Eden, are admitted to hospital in an emergency during the Covid-19 pandemic.
