Organisers of the Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival have announced that the 14th edition of the Cardiff based festival will go online this October, and will be available for free. They also confirmed that the £30,000 Iris Prize, supported by The Michael Bishop Foundation, will be presented to a filmmaker to produce another short film on Saturday 10th October. A free online booking and appointment app launched by Cardiff-based digital company Zipporah is helping the Vale of Glamorgan Council reopen its recycling centres and reduce waiting times for the public. Last week (3rd June 2020) multiple crews were called to a fire on Wentloog Road, St Mellons in Cardiff. Upon arrival firefighters were faced with a derelict caravan on fire, which had consequently spread to nearing trees.   The fire is suspected to have been caused deliberately and the Fire Crime Team from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have since been monitoring the site which currently has approximately 25 tonnes of rubbish dumped, including four caravans.   Fly tipping…
