Global Acts of Unity has launched an inaugural poetry competition and is asking young people (aged 11-18) to enter by expressing what ‘unity’ means to them for a chance to win £100 vouchers and £500 worth of supplies for their school. In October 2019, Coleg Gwent’s Learn Welsh Gwent department was routinely inspected by Estyn, the inspectors of quality and standards in education and training in Wales, and are now celebrating the findings of the report published last week by the independent body.   The main findings were that “Wellbeing and attitudes to learning” and “Care, support and guidance” are ‘Excellent’.
