Welsh Hearts are very excited that Jodi Bird 16 and a Pupil at Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg who was a finalist in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent will be singing at our charity Concert “Christmas with the Stars” at The City Hall Cardiff on Sunday 14th December with fellow contestant and runner up Opera Singer Lucy Kay at a Charity Concert close to everyone’s hearts! Taking part in the Concert will be a host of artists from The West End!
Jodi was a 2014 semi finalist on Britain’s got Talent where she received an apology from Simon Cowell, a rare thing indeed. The experience and exposure for Jodi has been incredible. She has appeared in films, musicals and has a full calender for 2014/15.
Jodi has just finished in the production of Hairspray where she played the part of Penny.
This year Jodi won a trip to Paris where she will be representing Wales by singing in Disney Land on St David’s Day.!
Jodi was the overall winner of Star of Stage 2014 receiving prizes worth £4000 one of which was a scholarship with Connie fisher.
Jodi has returned to 6th form this year where she will take her A Levels in English, French, Music and Drama she also plays the Harp, Piano and writes her own music.
Jodi’s dream is to appear on Broadway and the West end, Jodi says I am so excited about singing at this Concert and I hope that the evening raises a lot of money for all the hearts in Wales! Its such a great cause and I am delighted to be a part of it!
