A giant piece of street art has appeared in Cardiff city centre this week. Sully’s café on Quay Street has been transformed with the creation of a 30ft graffiti mural to celebrate the 2019 Adrian Flux British FIM Speedway Grand Prix (SGP) returning to Cardiff this September for the 19th year. Tommy the springer spaniel who was found straying in Merthyr Tydfil back in June. Sadly no owner came forward to collect him, so he has come into the care of Hope Rescue in Llanharan.  As soon as he arrived it became very clear that Tommy was an elderly chap, with lots of lumps and bumps under his fur.   An increase in reports of toxic blue green algae in several locations across Wales and other parts of the UK this summer is prompting the British Veterinary Association (BVA) to urge pet owners to take extra precautions while walking their dogs in the vicinity of affected water bodies.
