In 2018 Rhiwbina RFC and Cancer Research Wales undertook a joint annual raffle, which was drawn at Rhiwbina Recreation Club just before Christmas. The Barry Hospital will soon be celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The hospital was opened in 1995 as a ‘community hospital’ with a range of facilities for staff, visitors, third sector and community groups to use.
