Cardiff Times are running a competition to won tickets to see The Noise Next Door, see our Facebook page.
On the 22nd September, the Noise head out onto the road again for their third National Tour as their audience queue to see them time and time again (for a new show every night) the phenomenal Noise Next Door will be splitting sides and breaking even more hearts as their parade of sharp suits, catchy songs, quick fire wit, enviable rapport, banter and stories roll into towns far and wide.
Recently the lads have been popping up regularly on BBC1’s The One Show, working with ITV2’s Britain’s Got More Talent, tearing the house down headlining the BBC3 Edinburgh comedy Gala 2014 (performing in front of more than 4000 people in Scotlands biggest theatre), as well as developing a show with Channel 4.
These five young gents will be delighting audiences (especially the ladies) with their extreme skill, talent, banter and tales. Holding court like modern day troubadours or travelling court jesters, ripples of excitement and delight pass through their excited audiences as the boys stroll onto the stage for an hour of pure entertainment.
Selling out their tours and Edinburgh Fringe runs for seven consecutive years, last year the boys had to extend their tour to 40 dates due to phenomenal demand for their incredibly funny Improv shows.
They have been performing their own distinctive brand of off-the-cuff comedy since they met at university, so that’s 8 years + 8000 miles travelled together = amazing comic chemistry! With absolutely no script, they have an uncanny knack of transforming audience suggestions into fantastically funny scenes and songs in the blink of an eye with a perfect blend of ludicrous characters, witty one-liners, epic stories, and explosive physicality, underpinned by their infectious, feel good brand of humour.
Comparable to fast becoming The One Direction of Comedy, the five boys are:
Charlie Granville – A Brighton lad with a taste for high society and the finer things in life.
Sam Pacelli – His Italian heritage has instilled him with a fiery passion for life, a flagrant disregard for traffic laws and an uncontrollable need to offer parmesan and black pepper to anyone he sees eating.
Tom Livingstone – Spent his formative years in the deepest, darkest corner of rural Devon proving that size did not always directly relate to suitability for manual labour. Following intellectual endeavours instead, Tom is now technically the world’s most educated troll.
Matt Grant – Matt was born in Kenya and raised in Kent. When faced with a challenge, Matt either hunts the problem with a spear or holds a bake sale in its honour… Mixing the two approaches rarely ends well.
Tom Houghton – Tom was born in North Yorkshire but was raised on army bases all over the globe where he learnt useful skills such as cheeky eyebrow raising, moIsturising on a budget and the words to every Disney film… The usual military stuff.
Whether a late night lock in or a charming hour, these boys are not to be missed!
“Comedy gold… Staggeringly well executed” The Guardian
