Jon Allen’s recent tracks ‘White Gold’, ‘The Shadow’ and ‘Nine Lives’ have captured evocative snapshots of the day-to-day struggles of 18th century Londoners – and those stories weave into an imaginative tapestry of what the streets of our capital must have felt like. The next chapter of this narrative is the release of his new single ‘Down With The Tide’ out now.
The new album ‘Seven Dials’ is released May 2nd.
Jon says, “There is a feeling of defiance at the heart of ‘Down With The Tide’ – a refusal to let life’s inevitable misfortunes pull you under. The tide represents the forces that threaten to drag you down. It’s a celebration of grit and determination in the face of intractable odds.”
