BRITISH singer-songwriter and 2012 X Factor winner James Arthur will perform at St David’s Hall on Saturday 18 March in support of his new album Back from the Edge.
Public demand was expected to be huge so customers were advised to get in there quick when tickets went on sale on Friday 4th November at 9.30am!
James’ critically acclaimed second album is currently sitting nicely at No.1 in the midweek UK charts, and is currently holding off competition from Elvis Presley, Michael Bublé and The Courteeners.
Following two years away from the spotlight, James has made a triumphant return and has now sold more than 700,000 copies of the lead track Say You Won’t Let Go. The single was released in September and quickly shot to the top spot on iTunes and Spotify, followed by the Official Charts where it sat at No.1 for three consecutive weeks. Consequently, James has now been confirmed as the best-selling British singles artist in 2016. The song has also topped the charts in Australia and Ireland and has already started to make waves in the US.
After winning the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012, his debut single Impossible stormed to No.1 in its first week, whilst the follow-up You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You peaked at No.2.
