There are over 100 events this, madeinroath’s tenth year, including exhibitions, performances, workshops and interventions. The festival runs from 14-21 October, and visitors to Roath can expect exhibitions, treasure hunts, film, performance, workshops, sound work, roaming magicians and tricksters, stranded giant pigeons, a mobile textiles studio and lots more. Artists have snuck into parks and gardens, opened up their houses, and used community venues and shops as galleries, transforming Roath into an extravaganza of creative encounter and participatory arts activities.
Below is a selection of events, all of which are free and suitable for any age group.
