After the success of the inaugural awards in March 2022, the Principality Building Society Child of Wales awards have returned bigger and better than before. The achievements of remarkable young people across Wales will be celebrated, whilst raising vital funds for Ty Hafan and Hope House charities in Wales.
The event takes place on Friday 24th March 2023 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff. The evening will undoubtedly be emotional, inspirational and unforgettable for everyone involved.
Once again it will be one of the most glamorous, high-profile events in the charity calendar, with the attendance of many media personalities, celebrities and sports stars, along with performances from some astonishing international entertainers.
Covering every part of Wales, categories will award outstanding personal courage, bravery, sporting and creative achievements; and also recognise the children who help others – championing causes in their communities, protecting the environment, caring for others and fundraising.
The evening will shine a bright light on amazing brave children and young people who face hardships and challenges every day, yet never give up, never stop trying and inspire those around them in the process.
