I was so looking forward to seeing Aljaz and Janette in this show at St Davids Hall last Saturday night and boy did they deliver.
It was a truly remarkable; unique and star studded roller coaster ride through some of the best and memorable films. There were tributes to –
The Greatest Showman
La La Land
Saturday Night Fever
James Bond
Caberet
with many more.
The choreography was amazing, with over 200 costume changes.
Aljaz and Janette were supported by an incredible cast of singers and dancers, and throughout the show the chemistry between them shone through.
Aljaz danced with a beautiful dancer Ashley, together it was like watching Ginger and Fred.
There were Latin routines between Aljaz and his beautiful wife Janette as well as some contemporary dances, with Janette also showing us some ballet, which is where it all began for her.
It was a wonderful show and their personalities shone through, they obviously love dance. I can’t wait for them to return to Cardiff.
The audience were so enthusiastic – Cardiff you did them proud.
