The charity thanks the public for helping to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. BBC Children in Need has allocated over £29,600 in new funding to a group working with disadvantaged children and young people across Cardiff. BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales perform a concert to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme on 1 July at BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff.
