In 2018 Rhiwbina RFC and Cancer Research Wales undertook a joint annual raffle, which was drawn at Rhiwbina Recreation Club just before Christmas. It was the culmination of months of ticket selling by all sections of Rhiwbina RFC and by Cancer Research Wales, with all prizes kindly donated by local North Cardiff businesses.
