On 1st February 2019, an event was held at the Wales Millennium Centre to launch the 2019 Cardiff and the Vale Urdd National Eisteddfod in the company of the city’s children and young people. A decade since the Cardiff Bay Urdd National Eisteddfod in 2009, the festival which attracts 90,000 visitors each year, will return to the Bay between 27 May – 1 June this year.
