THE Circus of Horrors is back with a beautifully bizarre interpretation of a children’s classic as you’ve never imagined it before!
Performed with a forked tongue firmly in cheek, The Never-Ending Nightmare bends Thomas Carroll’s tale into an Alice in Horrorland-type story, and it’s weird and wonderful thrills and spills are coming to St David’s Hall on Wednesday 22 March.
In 2011, The Circus of Horrors stormed to the Semi-Finals of Britain’s Got Talent. Subsequently they conquered the West End before becoming household names across the nation’s TV screens on programmes like The X Factor, Daybreak, The One Show, This Morning and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
The gruesome group first sprang into action at Glastonbury in 1995, and have since established themselves as huge hits on the festival scene sharing the stage with goth-rockers Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper, as well as British bands like Oasis and Manic Street Preachers.
Annually The Circus of Horrors plays over 100 UK venues and this tour has expanded to take in festivals throughout the world including Fuji Rock in Japan and Wacken in Germany, plus shows across Europe, Asia and South America. The spectacular show is truly a worldwide phenomenon having played a staggering 10 nights at London’s O2 Arena and become the first ever circus to perform in Russia.
If Quentin Tarantino had directed Cirque Du Soleil then you would be only half way there!
