Welsh Food manufacturers Braces Bakery and Castle Dairies have joined many other brands in contributing to a recipe book called “The Little Rainbow Book of Recipes”, which was put together by the team at Visionary Food Solutions. This recipe book includes 71 recipes from 71 brands across the UK, representing the 71 years since the NHS started.
At a time where people are experimenting at home with new foods and recipes, this book gives people the tools to do so, whilst supporting local business and raising money for the incredible frontline workers during this pandemic. 2020 is always going to be a year that stands out due to the impact on society, from sickness and losing loved ones, to redundancies and anxiety, it has touched people from all around the globe. We have compiled this book to celebrate the amazing work of people up and down the country, from clapping and singing on the streets, to captain Tom Moore raising money and volunteers from all communities – our newfound friendliness from all neighbourhoods has been heart-warming.
Many Welsh brands wanted to do their bit, which gave us the idea to create this book. The recipes are a collection of meat based, vegan, plant based, sweet treats and drinks from a variety of diverse UK foodies.
