Welsh National Opera’s first Family Concert will be at Wales’s national concert venue St David’s Hall, Cardiff, in March bringing over 70 musicians together to play a relaxed repertoire suitable for families of all ages.
Hosted by Wynne Evans, this concert will be particularly manageable for those who may not have watched a full opera before – the WNO Orchestra will play music from the opera world mixed together will themes from film and television, including Disney, James Bond and Star Wars.
The afternoon event on Sunday 20 March will also see Wynne appearing as the infamous Gio Compario character, from Gocompare.com advert fame.
