Top Hair and Beauty Stars are announced
Over 400 of the Welsh elite hair and beauty professionals gathered at the Mercure Holland House Hotel for a glamorous ceremony to recognise and reward the best in the industry on Sunday May 15.
Thousands of nominations were received by the welsh public, who voted for their favourite hair and beauty guru’s.
The third annual Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards has become a staple event in the industry calendar, which celebrates the amazing breadth of talent and style in this country.
Some of the big accolades presented on the night included Beautician of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year and Makeup Specialist of the Year. This year saw the introduction of two new awards; Best Academy 2016 and the Outstanding Salon of the Year.
The evening was hosted by Capital FM’s breakfast presenter, Polly James, where guests from across Wales joined in the black tie dinner celebration to their industry.
Speaking shortly after the event Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic said “We are humbled and honored to host the Welsh Hair & Beauty awards, where so many talented businesses and individuals were recognised. The awards have grown from strength to strength each year, as new businesses emerge to compete for the awards making it tough competition for the more established names.
We would like to thank all the partners and sponsors and congratulate the finalists and winners this year, who truly deserve their place.”
